that is a beautiful picture of her! she has a awesome smile. i am sorry i lost touch. she did friend me on FB a few months ago , i am wishing i reached out to her. she was involved in the shaping of my journey into being a woman. i will pray that she knows how she taught me to embrace the moment, laughter really is the best medicine, to go all out on holidays~ be loud , proud , cook all day..kitchen islands are the best place for appetizers. she showed me how to make Oyster Vol au Vents(oysters in puff pastry), shrimp merleton. she showed me how to be a proper cajun hostess at a party. if i let my mind think back , i can still remember the way she smelled , when i felt a small sample of a mother-in laws love, wrapped in a hug. I always felt welcome as soon as i set foot on her floor, even when times were shaky, beyond tough..she showed me how to withstand and love , support as a mother must.Today I will smile and dance in the rain, laugh out loud and let go of the pain. I hope and pray for my daughter, who experienced the wonders of Jill Casey and her father and his brother ,Papa Tom and her family. that they are flooded with the happy memories and heart warming thoughts. You all were loved fiercely! Heaven is truly singing cajun music for days! my support and heart felt sympathy is being extended.
