Jewel Webster Scaife's Obituary
Jewel Webster Scaife passed away on Friday, May 28, 2010.
She was born November 22, 1928 in Atlanta, GA to the late Cecil A. and Mildred Inskeep Webster and has been a resident of Covington since 1971. She attended and sang in the choir of North Cross Methodist Church in Madisonville.
The beloved wife of the late William Perry Scaife, she is survived by one daughter, Cecile Scaife Manny; two sons, John Miller “Jack” Scaife and William Webster “Bill” Scaife; two in-laws; son-in-law Ben-husband of daughter Cecile and daughter-in-law Linda-wife of son Bill; one brother, Col. (Ret.) William L. Webster; four grandchildren: Betty Manny Mark, Carrie Manny Buhari, William Lagarde Scaife and Christine Marie Scaife and one great-grandson, Ardavan Buhari.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend memorial services at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours will begin Saturday at 10:00 AM.
Interment at Theodore Dendinger Cemetery in Madisonville will immediately follow services.
