Sorry to hear of your loss.
I worked with Mr. D at BFM. He was a very knowledgeable surveyor and a great person to work with. He taught me a lot about surveying in south Louisiana.
He'll be missed.
Stephenson Family; I am very sorry for your loss. I will always always remember my Uncle Dee. The pain never goes away but some how we learn to live each day the best we can. I know how hard life can be at this time, but with Gods' helping hand he will guide us through. I am very sorry I am not their to help comfort Little Dee, for he was there for me when my dad passed and I will never forget that. I was standing alone when the casket was closing and he came to me held my hand and hugged me tight and that moment I knew my dad sent him to me. With all my Love and Heart I know that we will once again be together when our time comes. God Bless All Of You, Monica
We got to know J D over the years while he worked in Metairie and thoroughly enjoyed seeing him whenever he stopped by. He always had a smile for us and always made us smile. We have missed him since he retired and will truly miss him always. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
To the Entire Stephenson Family:
I want to extend my condolences to your entire family for your loss. I took a personal interest in caring for "Pawsy" during his recent hospitalization and became very close to all of the family members. Words cannot express the loss of such an independent and mutually loved individual. One quote that I recite everyday when I wake up in the morning reads: "Lord, help to remember that nothing is going to happen to me today that you and I cannot handle together." I am so very sorry for you loss.
Shannon
With our deepest sympathy. Dee was such a wonderful person, we will miss him greatly. We loved him and everything about him that made him such a special person.
Just wanted you all to know we are thinking about you.
Wanda and Doug Stephenson
"Mr. Dee" was the best. Never too busy for a word of encouragement or to ask "How ya doing?" I treasure the evenings spent with him talking about surveying, gardening, and life in general. The world would be a better place if we had more like him. I hope he finds a warm campfire to sit by and talk with old friends.
