Jess Bernard Shelley passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2011.
Beloved husband of 48 years to Judy Johnson Shelley; loving father of J.B. Shelley and his wife Vicky; grandfather to Brian and Jacob Shelley; and brother of Marian Keck and Katherine Meacham.
Age 78 years, he was a native of Eldred, PA and a resident of Mandeville, LA for the past 20 years. A Field Service Engineer in the Petrochemical business, he worked for Gulf Engineering of Jefferson, LA. He was a United States Navy veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services on Friday, October 14, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Christ Episcopal Church, 120 South New Hampshire, Covington, LA 70433.
A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10:00 AM in the Church Hall at Christ Episcopal Church.
Interment will follow at St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery, St. Benedict, LA.
