Jeffrey Alan Perilloux's Obituary
Jeffrey Alan Perilloux passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022 after a valiant battle with cancer with his wife by his side. He was born in Covington, LA on August 6, 1962 to Robert Joseph and Dorothy Wager Perilloux. He was a native of Madisonville, LA and a resident of Bedico, LA for approximately 39 years.
Jeff married the love of his life, his “Cinnamon Girl,” Michelle Tyrney Perilloux, who was his soul mate and best friend for over 36 years. They never got tired of being together. If you saw one you generally saw the other.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Michelle; his children, Jerit M. (Allyson) and Magen P. Girod (Loney); his parents, Robert and Dorothy; his grandchildren, Alice Perilloux and Noah Girod; and Tanya “Nona” C. Glass (Scotty), whom he considered his extra special bonus daughter. He is also survived by his brother, David (Gwen); sister, Brenda P. Morgan (Ron); mother-in-law, Elaine G. Tyrney (Lynn); sisters-in-law, Tammy T. Nelson (Johnny) and Susan Perilloux; brother-in-law, Paul D. Tyrney; nieces and nephews, Kevin, Monica, Justin, Jacob, Nicky, Cassie, Christin, Kristen, Jonathan, Candace and Danielle and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins, all whom he loved dearly.
Jeff was preceded in death by his son, Corey A.; his brother, Robert “Robbie;” his grandparents, Ralph J. Perilloux, Louise LeBlanc Perilloux, Andrew L. Wager, Sr. and Clara Sharp Wager; and his father-in-law, Danny Tyrney.
Jeff was so proud of his children and grandchildren. He felt secure in the achievements and choices they were making as adults. He did not have to worry about them, as he raised confident independent strong respectful individuals. He loved them beyond measure. Jeff’s love was boundless and he loved them with his whole heart.
Jeff’s work ethic was impeccable, honest and reliable. He was the same way when it came to his family and friends, if you needed him, he was there. A favorite thing for Jeff and Michelle to do was host crawfish boils. Their teamwork was second nature which made the best boiled crawfish ever. Their saying was “Can’t Buy This No Where.” There will be plans later to have a crawfish boil in honor of Jeff.
Pallbearers will be Ron Morgan, Billy Tyrney, Scott Glass, Hugh Carter, Todd Carter and Paul Tyrney along with John Nelson and David Perilloux as Honorary Pallbearers.
