I have so many great childhood memories of Jeannine. I was a good friend of her daughter, Cathy. Not only was she one of the kindest people I ever met, she was also one of the coolest moms. I remember Cathy had a cork board wall in her room and Cathy was allowed to hang all of the teen idol posters that she wanted. My mom NEVER let me do that! The whole family also each had their own motorcycles and at some point, I got to ride with them. Again, something my parents never allowed me to have and something I coveted greatly.
I will always remember how she listened intently to whatever was going on in our lives. Even though we were just kids, she never treated us like one. She was a person who somehow made us feel valued and loved. I’m thankful I got a chance to know her. She made this world a better place. Much love, hugs, and prayers for her family and friends during this difficult time.
