Jeanelle was the beloved wife of Hudson George Thomas for 50 years and Johnnie Fratesi for 7 years. She was the loving mother of Lanie Thomas Roberts, Hudson Loyd Thomas, and Judy Thomas Mayfield. Jeanelle was the proud grandmother of Jennifer Roberts Bradley, David Eugene Roberts, Kelley Thomas Bates, Bryan Hudson Thomas, Jared Thomas Mayfield, and Leigh Anne Mayfield. Jeanelle was the great grandmother of Anna Bradley, Lauren Bradley, Drew Bradley, Kate Bradley, Michael Bradley, Will Bradley, Jack Roberts, Jude Roberts, Kelsey Roberts, Allie Grace Bates, John Hudson Bates, Rivers Mayfield, Piper Mayfield, Emma Purviance, Paisley Purviance, and Pierce Hudson Thomas. Jeanelle was the sister of William Loyd Patton and Shirley Patton Murphree. Jeanelle was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, brother, sister, son, and granddaughter, Kelley Thomas Bates.

Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral at Stricklin-King Funeral Home, 718 Calhoun Avenue, Yazoo City, Mississippi, on August 23, 2021, at 11:00 AM with visitation from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow the service at Glenwood Cemetery, Yazoo City, Mississippi. E.J. Fielding Funeral Home entrusted with local arrangements.
