Jean Zerangue Tassin's Obituary
Jean Zerangue Tassin, a long time resident of Mandeville, LA, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2013. She was born, Tuesday, October 19, 1937 in New Orleans, LA to Merrick and Eunice Morel Zerangue.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Nelson T. Tassin, Sr.; two sons - Nelson T. Tassin, Jr. (Gale) and Cheif Merrick (Rick) J. Tassin (Charlotte); one brother - Donald C. Zerangue (Patricia); five grandchildren - Robin A. Tassin, Gretchen E. Knaak (Atom), Susanne-Jean and Kristen N. Tassin, Kevin M. Husser and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son - Kevin C. Tassin.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 11, 2013 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 312 Lafitte St. Mandeville, LA 70448.
A wake is scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 10, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation at the Church on Monday will begin at 10:00 AM.
Interment at the Mandeville Cemetery will immediately follow mass.
