Jay Michael Borne's Obituary
Jay Michael Borne, a loving husband, son, brother, and friend, passed away on December 4, 2018 with his devoted and loving wife at his side. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marguerite Riviere Borne. Son of Huey “Jack” Borne, brother of Judy Dupre, John Borne (Rhonda), Alan Borne(Donna), and Karen Genella (Michael). He was the brother-in-law of Mary Ann Osburn and David Osburn (Sheila).
Jay was a life-long resident of Chalmette, LA. After Hurricane Katrina, Jay relocated with his wife Kelly to Wilma, LA. Jay was an aircraft mechanic for many years. Jay will always be remembered for his strength and courage through a long illness. A special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice for their gentle care.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Liturgy of the Word at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 1:00 PM with visitation from 11:30 AM until service time.
