Jason was a dear childhood friend to me while I lived in Mandeville during my freshman year in high school before I moved back to Kentucky. We spent almost everyday together and I spent a lot of nights at his home. I am truly sorry to just now find out about his passing and my sincere condolences go out to his family and especially his children, Mark Burton

I remember when we were so young. Maybe 15-16 years old. Going to the “Super Sale” in the Superdome to buy speakers for the boom box we built out of 3/4” plywood, a car battery, car stereo, amp and 6 car speakers and a chain padded with pipe insulation to carry it 😂😂. It must have weighed 200 lbs. Then when we got tired of carrying it at the Mardi Gras parade on Severn, we got my skateboard out of your truck and rolled it around the rest of the day LOL! And the day you followed me onto bus #5! But that’s another story for another day. You always had my back and I had yours. Peace brother. Love you man.
