Our dear Janis....She was a mentor and a special friend at the Monterey Public Library. I always enjoyed being on the Reference Desk with her. I inevitably learned something and had a good laugh. She was interested in everyone and had a beautiful heart. I will miss you Janis. It was my honor to work with you. May you rest in peace dear one. Kathy Nielsen
Our Janis. Many memories of this wonderful woman when she shared our lives in Monterey. She was often quoted after she moved with George to LA. "As Janis Rodman used to say..." To this day I can recall her laugh. Yes, we loved her.
