Jane Vorbeck's Obituary
Jane Claire Gavin Vorbeck passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2009.
She was a retired elementary school teacher and a published author. She was a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Loyola University.
Beloved mother of David W. Vorbeck and the late Jason T. Vorbeck. Daughter of Thomas Emile and Isabelle Claire Indest Gavin. Sister of John P. Gavin, M.D., Joseph A. Gavin and Michael D. Gavin. Grandmother of Jacob and Joshua Vorbeck.
Age 62 years. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Covington, LA for the past 25 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church, 125 E. 19th Ave. Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Visitation, AT THE CHURCH, from 10:00 AM until service time.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer masses to be said on her behalf.
Inurnment in St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery.
