catilin, i am sorry about your Grandmother and i hope you doing o.k. take care sabrina
My deepest sympathies to Tom and family on the loss of their very special wife, mother, grandmother.
I knew Jane through the CASA Program and supervised her cases in both Slidell and Bogalusa City Courts. She was beloved by the CASA staff, OCS, and the Judges of both Courts. But most of all she was beloved by the many abused and neglected children she helped through the years of her service.
Jane was one of the best advocates for children we had in the program. But she was special in so many other ways. She was full of energy, she was funny, and she was very humble. (And I loved those earrings!) She loved her family and they loved her. I remember how supportive Tom was to her commitment to CASA. It was a loss to all of us when she retired from the program.
While I know she will be missed by her family and many friends, may they be comforted by the knowledge that she is at peace surrounded by the angels who were always with her here on earth.

To Uncle Tom, the cousins and their families,
Take comfort in the knowledge that Aunt Jane is at peace . . . and enjoying a grand family reunion with our family members who preceded her.
