Jan Lea Cabirac's Obituary
Jan Lea Cabirac of Covington, LA passed away on June 7, 2018. She was born on June 8, 1952 in Shreveport, LA to the late Allen W. Lea and Pawnee Patterson Lea.
Jan is survived by her beloved husband of 25 years Hewitt B. “Rusty” Cabirac, her brother Rhome W. Lea of Oklahoma, her sister Bobette Lea Davenport (Eric) of Louisiana, and her sister-in-law Lou Anne Lea of Louisiana. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Mark A. Lea and J. Blaine Lea.
She graduated from Santiago High School in Garden Grove, California. Jan was a former member of the Mardi Gras Krewe Perseus, Slidell, LA. Her interests included gardening, crafts, travelling and entertaining. Jan was a bartender at Tuggy's for many years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 12:00 PM with visitation on Saturday beginning at 10:00 AM.
