I never met my Dad's best friend, but I heard about Jim so many times. This was a friendship that was life-lasting. Nothing was more beautiful, than seeing a picture of these two friends holding hands in Jim's hospital room in June, 2017.
With God at the helm, He granted them the most precious gift to see each other one final time this summer. This was no small endeavor considering my Dad lives in South Dakota and is also in his 80's. The will was great, the hearts were aching, and their souls' needed this connection.
In the process of planning this trip between families, I had the sincere privilege to work with John. What an honor to have been able to do this. I only have deeper respect for Jim and Bev.
My deepest sympathy to all the family. You have an angel in heaven who will always be with you.
God's peace,
