I met Allen in the early 1990’s when we worked together at an antique mall. We became close friends and soon we were “antiquing” together frequently. I’ll always remember those days and the laugh-out-loud fun we had together. Allen gave me good advice and I knew I could always count on this thoughtful responses to my concerns. He was a kind, gentle man. He enjoyed people. He was always interested in my family - my husband and son. After Allen moved to Louisiana, we kept in touch by phone, frequently catching up. At Christmas, Allen sent me homemade shortbread and I sent him homemade biscotti. I loved this dear friend and I cherish the friendship we had. I miss you, Allen.
