James Leroy Jenkins, Jr.'s Obituary
James Leroy Jenkins, Jr. passed away on Friday, April 25, 2014 in Covington, LA at the age of 87. He was born on November 14, 1926 in Memphis, TN to James Leroy, Sr. and Neola Jenkins.
James was married to his beloved Ella Vee Quave Jenkins for 67 years. He was the brother of Dewey Lee Jenkins, the late Arthur Jenkins, Warren Jenkins, Louis Jenkins, Paul Jenkins, John Jenkins, Dora Goudey, Neola Goudey, and Merrilee Lamosan.
James retired from Lone Star Cement, Inc. He was a mechanic, an avid fisherman, and loved being in the outdoors.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Monday, April 28, 2014 at The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints, 2638 W 15th Ave., Covington, LA 70433 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow services in Garden of the Pines Cemetery, Covington, LA.
