William Moore Ii
Holden was truly a selfless individual with the kindest heart. He and fiancé Victoria lived beside me and awhile back Holden bought a new lawn mower and weed-eater. I have no lawn shed and would put a friends mower in the trunk of my car from across town and bring it to my house to mow my yard. If Holden told me once, he told me twenty times, “Bill, you know that you are welcome to use my equipment anytime”. It really bothered him that I drug a friends mower across town to mow my yard.
Holden bought a small mini-bike he would spend a lot of time tinkering with. Often well after dark he would be working on it under his carport and riding up and down the street like a giddy 14 year old. One evening he was showing the bike to some neighborhood kids and told me he was going to sell it to one of them. A few days later Holden came over and told me the sale fell through because the kid couldn’t get the money together. Holden told me that he was probably just going to give it to him. I didn’t hear the outcome of that deal, but later heard rumor from another neighbor that some kids had stolen the bike from his yard.
“I think I’m just going to give it to him”…that’s the Holden I knew.
Deepest Heartfelt condolences to Victoria and Holden’s many friends and family. Friend & Neighbor -William
