James H. "Jimmy" Foster Jr.'s Obituary
James H. Foster, Jr., “Jimmy” age 75, of Covington, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. He was born on January 20, 1951, in Covington, Louisiana.
He is survived by his children, Lee Foster and Scott Jenkins; grandchildren, Eliza Foster, Porter Foster, Scott Jenkins II, Charity Jenkins, Boston Jenkins, and Landon Jenkins. He is also survived by his siblings, Lynette Westmoreland, Sandra A. Kepley, and Mary E. Foster; and many extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James H. Foster Sr. and Sylvia Loyd Foster, and two sons, James H. Foster III and Henry Joseph Foster.
Jimmy was a proud 20 year member of the Army National Guard, retiring as Sergeant E05, and also worked for many years for Accardo Materials.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 10:30 AM at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, Louisiana, with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow in Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Drive, Slidell, Louisiana.
