James John Davis II's Obituary
James John Davis, II, age 92, of Mandeville, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024. He was born on December 23, 1931, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Blanche Contadellucci Davis; parents, James John Davis and Carmel Cowan.
He is survived by his children, James Davis, III, and Ann Marie Clark; grandchildren, Danielle Snyder, Michael Clark, Kimberly Super, and Marlena Ferrara; and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Catherine J. Davis, extended family members, and friends.
James was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He grew up in New Orleans. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps (Korean War) where he was a Purple Heart recipient. He was Vice-President of Cooper Data Systems in New Orleans. Along with his wife, Blanche, he owned and operated Southern Comfort Home Builders on the Northshore until his retirement.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
