I worked closely with Jim at Norfolk Southern, we were also friends outside of work. When I started at the railroad I was told early that you can only trust a handful of people, Jim was one of those people. He was one of the nicest, caring people that I worked with and had a great sense of humor. Jim will be missed but remembered as a great person. Part of my responsibilities at Norfolk Southern was the automobile ramp inventory system so I worked closely with Jim when he had auto ramp responsibilities at Chicago and New Orleans and later worked in the same office with him in Atlanta. What a great guy! Always cool and collected no matter what. One of the best and nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of working with. He will be missed by many. Cy Yarborough
