How can anyone choose just one memory of “Mr Fred”. He impacted our lives so profoundly and positively. If we could all be more like him. We had the honor of living next to your family back in the days when you were all under one roof. We have never had that same feeling of living next to people who felt like family. Fred was ALWAYS outside, sitting on the porch or outside the garage just waiting to make someone’s day with a great story, a laugh and an easy conversation. I still tell people about the yard pig that he pointed at people he was not pleased with. Of all the people that I have met in this life, Fred had the warmest most sincere welcome and the best sense of humor. I remember the afternoon that I cut my hand open (Scott was traveling), Fred scooped me up, took me to the hospital and waited with me. I loved spending a couple of New Years Eves and mornings with the whole neighborhood in our conjoining driveways. We never had to go anywhere on holidays because Fred made every single day a celebration. We were lucky enough to live in his light for a few of the best years of our lives. Gods speed Mr Fred, we love you.
