James Ray Alphonse's Obituary
With great sadness we share the passing of James Ray Alphonse on March 27, 2025. He was born on April 13, 1954 to Peter and Rose Alphonse in New Orleans, LA.
James was proud of his 16 years of service in the Air Force as a telecommunications technician and proudly wore his veterans hat everywhere. He was a kind and giving person and loved to talk and discuss politics. He always checked up on friends and relatives to see how they were. He was avid reader, video gamer, movie watcher and lover of science fiction.
James is survived by his sister, Angie Jarman (Randy); nieces, Meghan Jarman, Madelyn Jarman, Bonnie Leonard (Matt) and Cara Leonard; and nephews, Bayley Smith and Ross Lemoine. He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Betty Brignac and nephew, Brett Lemoine.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Drive, Slidell, LA 70458 on Friday, April 11, 2025 at 10:00 AM.
