Jacqueline Soroe McCloskey's Obituary
Jacqueline Soroe McCloskey passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. She was born in New Orleans, LA on December 22, 1930. She’s been a resident of the Northshore since 1996.
She is survived by her children, Karen Landry, Michael McCloskey and Shawn McCloskey; her grandchildren, Monique Lassiter, Julian Landry (Katie), Patrick Natal (Courtney), Jade Forte (Scott), Matthew Natal, Dane Landry, Liam Mccloskey, Jack Mccloskey, Devyn Mccloskey: great-grandchildren Jacquelyn Lassiter, Oliver Lassiter, Ashlyn Lassiter, Cali Natal, Josephine Landry, Evie Landry, Vail Forte, Tristan Forte and Finn Forte. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Michael “Shorty” McCloskey; her daughter, Kathleen Natal (Patrick); her parents Ethel Mary Halphen Soroe and Louis Soroe; and her brothers, Theodore Soroe (Helen), Louis Soroe (Dori).
Attended Sacred Heart of Jesus School from 1935-1946. Graduated St. Joseph High School May 1948.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
The McCloskey family expresses their gratitude to the care provided by St. Tammany Parish Hospital Hospice.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington Louisiana on Friday, October 13, 2023, at 11:00 AM with visitation on Friday beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
