Jacqueline Lerner Kerageorgiou's Obituary
Jacqueline Lerner Kerageorgiou passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023 surrounded by her family at her home in Covington, LA. She was born on May 31, 1935 in Magdeburg, Germany to the late Luzerowicz “Leo” Lerner and Johanna Lastman Lerner.
Jacqueline was the beloved wife of the late Salvas Kerageorgiou. She was the loving mother of Renee Martin. Jacqueline was the proud grandmother of Reina Solano, Nicole Solano, and Juan Solano. She was the sister of the late Hella Schulman.
Jacqueline was a survivor of the Holocaust. She worked as a data entry clerk for Pan Am and later worked for Glazer Steel before retiring. She was an excellent cook and seamstress. She loved traveling and spending time with her family.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at E J Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 2:00 PM with the visitation beginning at 12:00 Pm until Mass time. Interment will follow in Toomer Cemetery, Lacombe, LA.
