Jacqueline Sue Herzog Deffes' Obituary
Jacqueline Sue Herzog Deffes, age 84, of Robert, LA entered eternal rest on January 26, 2023. She was born in Galveston, Texas on April 13, 1938 to the late Bernard David Herzog and Ethel Martha Landrum Herzog. Sister of the late Bernadine Ethel Hollingsworth.
Beloved wife to the late Frank Leo Deffes, Jr for 59 years. Loving mother to Stacey Deffes Greco (Francis), and Frank “Trey” Leo Deffes, III (Alicia). She was the proud grandmother “Omi” to Chad F. Greco (Vaneesha), Amelie Greco Domingue (Christopher), Connor J. Greco (Hayley), Shelby Todd and Patricia Todd. Devoted and proud great grandmother to Emma Greco, Ethan Greco, Adeline Domingue, and Keller Greco.
Jacqueline lived most of her life in New Orleans, LA and resided in Robert, LA for the last 17 years. She graduated from St. Anthony of Padua in New Orleans and Sacred Heart of Jesus High School on Canal Street. She had a long career in office management at several New Orleans businesses.
Jacqueline was a devout Catholic, family oriented, loving, and thoughtful person. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, and traveling. However, her true passion was spending time with her loving family. Jacqueline was well respected and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 55720 Highway 445, Husser, Louisiana 70442 on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow the service at St. Dominic Cemetery next to the church.
