I’m so sorry for the loss of Mr. Jake. I just found out about it a few days ago.Ive got you and your family in my prayers. I loved seeing you and him and the family at the restaurant.
Love And Prayers To You Leann(worked at sweet daddy’s)
Barbara,Jay,Lindsay and the Coutrado family- I just heard a few minutes ago of Jake's passing and was so saddened by the news . Jake was such a good guy and I know that he loved you all so much. Many memories of Jake (mostly at the Tulane football games when the kids were little) and how he was such a "real " person. I sorry I didn't find out in time to pay my respects at the funeral but I want you all to know our thoughts and prayers and with you all.

Love you all, Dennis and Carolyn Russo
So sad to learn of Jake's passing. Will never forget this nice man with that winning smile and hearty laugh. How many times did I drop by his shop with a "limping" vehicle only to find the doors wide open and oldies playing on his radio while he shopped for parts or lunched at the Tap Room. Countless times left my keys in his mailbox and as many times the check to pay him while his many cats meowed and guarded the shop. Such a great guy, husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. He will be missed. Hugs and prayers to Barbara and the children from Aubrey and I.
Sincerely,
Sue Billiot

I'm very sad to learn about this. Mr. Jake was a great guy. The most honest and best mechanic I'll ever know. The Farris family sure did give him our fair share of challenging body work. He always had a grin and an extended hand of freindship. I will keep the entire family in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless.
Uncle Jake was a man of few words, yet his kind and caring personality were always evident through his actions. We always knew we could depend on him for anything. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.
My heart is broken for the lost of my friend, Barbara's husband. He was her best friend, her soul mate, the "Love of her Life", he was such a great man, a greater Dad and a fantastic Grandfather!!! ! My love and prayers to you all and I hope you find the strength and courage to understand Gods reasons for taking this wonderful man. You all have a very special guardian angel with you were ever you go. I am here if you need me... Beth
