Jack Coleman "Mr. Jack" Mozingo's Obituary
Jack Coleman “Mr. Jack” Mozingo, 82, a retired NASA computer specialist and retired St. Tammany Parish Sheriffs Deputy went to meet his heavenly father on Wednesday, January 20, 2010.
He was born in Wayne County, MS on April 24, 1927 to John and Maybelle Mozingo. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Irene Beech Mozingo. He is survived by his son, Roy Coleman Mozingo; daughter, Jutta Mozingo of Longview, TX; two step-daughters, Patsy Pearson of Mandeville, LA and Charlotte Wascom of Pearl River; one grandson, Kerry Wascom; one great-granddaughter, Abygail Wascom of Mandeville, LA; one daughter-in-law, Ruby Mozingo. He was preceded in death by four brothers, John H., Billy Ray of Laurel, MS, Walter Gray “WG”, and Harold Bond “Juber” of Montgomery, AL; one sister, Gertrude Burnett of Ellisville, MS. He is survived by three sisters, Willie Maulden of Ellisville, MS, Edna Brooks, Ruby Crusenberry of Montgomery, AL; two brothers, Troy and Robert of Montgomery, AL, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
He was a WW II U.S. Army Veteran having served in France and Germany.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Mandeville, 1895 Hwy 190, Mandeville, LA with visitation at church from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
Interment will follow in Mandeville City Cemetery.
