Tom, Larry, & Laura, I did not know that your father had passed until this morning. I was honored to know him and felt I was one of a fortunate few to call him friend and neighbor while growing up in TCE. He was such a gentle man and giving person. My days in Scouting were enriched by his presence and support in my life. I guess you really don't appreciate these things until they are gone. He certainly lived a long and generous life.
To the Mincher Family: My fondest memories of Jack were our years at Long Beach High School. We were neighbors and close friends. We double dated together. My deepest sympathy for your loss. Beverly Achee Neski
Tom, Larry, & Laura, I did not know that Jack was being buried in Biloxi until after breakfast today when I read his obituary in the paper at 9 o'clock. I am so sorry because I would have driven over to join you in paying my last respects for my friend especially during the last months at Christwood. You know that we are all proud to be his friends and admirers. He is a true hero and a wonderful father as you well know. I am praying for you all.
