Jack Jordan M.D. passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Diane Haskell Jordan. Loving father of Janet Jordan Jones, Valista Jones and Doris Alber. Son of the late Blanche Thomason Jor Read Obituary
Just finding out this sad news. Jack and Diane were very good friends, in fact we now own their treasured home in Arboles, CO. We send our best wishes to the family.
Ken and Maxine Howard,and Elma Howard send our condolences to Jack's family. We have several fond memories of Jack and Dianne. They went on several trail rides with us in the SanJuan's. Jack was our family doctor for several years. Our children also have fond memories of Jack and Dianne.Our children are Greg Howard in Alamosa,Co.,Rebecca Thompson of Longmont, Co., Douglas Howard of Royal Palm Beacg, Fl. and Kristy Saunders of Fredrick Co,. With much sympathy to all of Jack' family.
We are so sorry to hear about your loss. Dr. Jordan delivered our second daughter, Marla in 1971, and took care of us over the years he was practicing in Monte Vista. He was a wonderful doctor and dear friend and we will miss him! Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you!

There were three of us siblings. Pete was the oldest, Jack the middle child was 4 years younger, and I was the half-sister, 10 years after Jack. Jack was always the most competitive and the most fearless. When Jack was 16 and I was 6, I tagged after him everywhere. He liked a girl, and I begged to go on his dates with him, but Mother wouldn't let me. He called me "Squirrel."Both Jack and Pete were officers in the Marine Corp. and served in the Pacific during WWII. Jack told me that he got bored sitting on an island in the Pacific when they were asked to volunteer for a secret job that would involve training in Hawaii. He volunteered immediately thinking of the girls in Honolulu. It turned out that their mission would be to be parachuted into Japan to guide the planes in for an invasion. That was right before the A-bomb was dropped that led to the Japanese surrender. He would have been killed.After the war, Jack became an M.D. He was a good doctor and had a way with kids. I'll miss him a lot.
