Jack Wesley Lewis Jr.'s Obituary
Jack Wesley Lewis, Jr., age 61, of Lacombe, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025. He was born on September 2, 1964, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Dana Guiroz Lewis; children, Amanda Michelle Lewis Clontz. He is also survived by his father, Jack Wesley Lewis, Sr.; siblings, Norman Jean Nunez, Pamela Lewis, Tammy Lewis, Sean Lewis, Sr., Scott Lewis, and Joshua Lewis; and many extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Irene Henry Lewis; and brother, Steven Lewis.
Jack grew up in Kenner, Louisiana, and attended Alfred Bonnabel High School. He met the love of his life, Dana, on a blind date in 1988 and they were married in 1993. Together they raised one biological child, Amanda, but also helped in raising their “pseudo-children”, Ashly, Jessica, and Aaron. Jack worked as a maintenance engineer for Corporate Realty, maintaining such properties as the World Trade Center in New Orleans among many others. His hobbies included building models, woodworking, and nerding over Dungeons and Dragons. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend, and he will be dearly missed.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
