Dear Lemmons Family, Our hearts were saddened by the news of Mr. Jack's passing. There was never a time that Mr. Jack didn't have a great joke to tell when we visited with our father (Bud Morse) and his friends at Forest Manor. Mr. Jack's contributions and love for St. Tammany, Abita Springs, and especially our country will always be remembered with grateful and loving hearts. May God Bless all of you and especially Mr. Jack.
I first met Mr Jack about a dozen or so years ago at a firemen's association meeting. He had identified a problem with firefighters safety throughout the parish, traffic control. His solution was simple-he hand made some "red flags" to be used for traffic control. Simple, identify the trouble, give a solution and handle it. That was Mr Jack, he never stood by or complained he just took the reigns and handled the problem. I still have one of those flags and every time I use it I am reminded of Mr Jack, of all the subsequent meetings, his stories-jokes and his kindness. He touched us all while he was here and he will continue to affect us in his absence. He is a great man and will never be forgotten.
Our deepest sympathy to the family of "Mr. Jack" We are the nurses of Station 3 at Forest Manor NH. It was indeed an honor and privledge to know such a man of great legacy and interest. He was a caring and thoughtful person who obviously loved people. He will truly be missed!! It was a gift to know and care for "Mr. Jack" as in his lifetime, took care and met so many fortunate people.
May God our Creator grant you eternal peace in the presence of His heavenly glory through the passion and blood of Jesus our Holy Redeemer. Amen.
