Ivey Joseph Martin Jr.'s Obituary
Ivey Joseph Martin, Jr. a lifelong resident of Waldheim, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. He was born in Bogalusa, LA on May 9, 1949
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Linda Booth Martin; his children, Beth Vinyard (Daniel) and Carolynn Bourque (Terry, Jr.); his grandchildren, Owen, Evan and Aaron Vinyard, Dalton and Logan Bourque. He is also survived by the sons of his heart, Shane Sharp (Jamie) and their children and Ray Jenkins and his family along with many beloved cousins and wonderful lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gladys Elizabeth Lenel Martin and Ivey Joseph Martin, Sr.
He will be missed by the Waldheim Community and all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, family and friends are encouraged to honor his memory and his love of the land by planting a garden or a tree.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington Louisiana 70433 on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at 11:00 AM with visitation on Thursday beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in Waldheim Methodist Church Cemetery.
