Isabelle Indest Gavin passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2009.
Beloved wife of Thomas Emile Gavin. Mother of John P. Gavin, M.D., Joseph A. Gavin, Michael D. Gavin and the late Jane Claire Gavin Vorbeck. Grandmother of Rachel, Patrick, Christopher, Ruthie Gavin, Meredith Bower, Nicole Gavin, David Vorbeck and the late Jason T. Vorbeck. Great-grandmother of Isabella Gavin, Jacob and Jonah Vorbeck. Sister of Noelie Suhor, and the late Dolores Indest, Stanley Indest, Joseph Indest, Olga Mayer, Bertha Massett and Betty Williams.
Age 88 years. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Covington, LA for the past 33 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church, 125 E. 19th Ave. Covington, LA 70433 on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Visitation, AT THE CHURCH, from 10:00 AM until service time.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer masses to be said on her behalf.
Inurnment in St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery.
