Ignatius George “Iggy” Mohr, age 68 years, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2011.
Beloved father of Dion Christine Mohr, Rebecca Mohr Carter and husband Shane Michael Carter, Camille Elizabeth Chatellier and husband Wesley Maur Chatellier and Georgeann Yvette Solomon. Grandfather of Jadyn Li Carter, Zachary David Alters, Hannah Elizabeth Solomon, Jessica Anne Archer,and Keaton Isaac Chatellier. Great-grandfather of Tyeler Ryan Archer. Companion of Lynel J. Moore for 20 years. Son of Mary Oalmann Mohr Goldate and the late George Ivan Mohr. Brother of Bernard T. Goldate.
He was a 32 year retiree from Bell South Telephone Company. A Vietnam Veteran of the US Navy. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Bush, LA for the past 40 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial service from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 7:30 PM. Visitation from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
