Ida Earhart Gilmour's Obituary
Ida Mae Earhart Gilmour passed away on Friday, November 6, 2009.
Beloved wife of Richard Lee Gilmour; loving mother of Jesse Earhart Gilmour and his wife Celina; sister to Elizabeth E. Kemp and her husband John and James L. Earhart and his wife DeDe; aunt to Virginia Kemp Cabell (Pierre), Kimberly Ann Earhart, Ann Pfeifle and Todd Earhart (Mandy); great aunt to Frederick, Michael and Robert Cabell, Cohen and Jaina Earhart; daughter-in-law of Geraldine Gilmour; and sister-in-law of Virginia Gilmour, Joni Gilmour and Margie Gilmour (Wes Henry). She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Dailey Earhart; and father, James L. Earhart.
Age 60 years, she was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Perry, GA for the past 10 years. Mrs. Gilmour served as the Cultural Director for the New Orleans Recreation Department.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 11:00 AM.
Visitation at the funeral home will begin at 10:00 AM on Thursday.
Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
