Ian Leif Hebert's Obituary
Ian Leif Hebert passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the age of 19.
He is survived by his birth father, Erie J. Hebert, III; his adoptive parents, his grandparents, Erie J. Hebert, Jr. and Patricia Malhiet Hebert; his sister, Adrienne Marie Hebert; a nephew, Theodore Michael Sneed. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Ian was a native of Gretna and a resident of Covington where he was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church and Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Mandeville. He was a 2017 graduate of St. Stanislaus College in Bay St. Louis, MS where he was a member of the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta. He participated in the school band, drama club, a photographer and writer for the yearbook, filmed and wrote articles for the football team.
Ian served an internship his senior year at The Gazebo Gazette in Pass Christian, MS. He aspired to be a published writer. He will be missed by family, friends and teachers.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 1501 W. Causeway Approach, Mandeville, LA 70471 on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 11:00 AM with visitation in the Parish Center on Saturday beginning at 10:00 AM.
The family requests Masses be offered for Ian.
