Oh Yogi I will miss you so much! We have been friends since the late 1960's. We watched our kids grow up and and shared so many friends and memories together. To all of your family I send my most heartfelt sympathy.

My heartfelt condolences to all of Yogi's loved ones. I'm sorry for your loss. I first met Yogi in 1962. We lived close by each other in Metairie, LA, and spent a lot of time together hanging with the same local guys. Time passed, and we lost track of Yogi, but never lost track his memory. On behalf of the old Airline Park guys, I'll say that Yogi was always very well remembered, and we will keep his memory alive among all of us.

Yogi had many great attributes. My favorites were his big heart ❤️ and his tremendous smile 😃 that always lit up a room.
His sense of humor always kept the crowd entertained. When Yogi was out without his Jan, I loved that when you asked about her whereabouts he'd say "aww, she"s a lightweight. Lol. He was very proud of her personal goals and accomplishments.

I’ve had the pleasure of being friends with Yogi and Jan for some years. I have never met anyone as kind, gentle, genuine as Yogi. He and Jan made a great couple. We had many wonderful times together. I was lucky to spend this past Father’s Day with them and Yogi was his usual self who couldn’t do enough to please us. So sorry for Jan and all of us who were a part of his life. Rest now my friend. Sandra Durbin Burch.
