Hilda Rita Bernard Myers passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2008.
Heavens gates opened to welcome her.
Beloved wife of the late Ottis Myers. Mother of Iris Myers, Ottis Wayne Myers and Brenda M. Willis. Grandmother of Brian Myers, Roddy Myers, William Hardy Byrd, Jr., Jeffery Myers, Jacob Myers, Michael Myers and Bert Myers. Sister of the late Hazel Creel and Ezra Jake Bernard. Also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
Aged 89 years. A native of Abita Springs, LA and a resident of Covington, LA for the past 60 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Thursday, February 7, 2008 at 2:00 PM from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433. Visitation on Thursday from 11:00 AM until service time. Interment in Bogue Falaya Baptist Church Cemetery, Folsom, LA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church, Young At Heart Ministries.
