Hezzie Carol Stevens' Obituary
Hezzie Carol Stevens passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at the age of 86. Carol was born in Savannah Branch, LA on October 21, 1937 to Hezzie Cire Stevens and Mavis Willie Stevens.
Carol is survived by his children, Felicia Jourdan (Danny), Mark Stevens (Janet) and Jeff Stevens (Christy), 13 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Clarence and Glen (Judy).
Carol was preceded in death by his parents, Hezzie and Mavis; his brother, Berlin; and his sister, Gene Lacroix.
Carol graduated from Covington High School, in 1956 and then earned his degree from Baton Rouge Business College. After earning his degree, he worked as a bookkeeper for W. R. Core, Inc. for over 46 years.
Carol was loving and compassionate. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. But most of all, Carol loved the Lord, his family and friends. He was well respected and liked and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. His spirit and tender nature will remain in the many memories of his cherished friends and family until they meet him again.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Savannah Branch Church of God, 11067 Highway 1078, Folsom, LA 70437 on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 12:00 PM with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will take place following the service at Willie Lee Cemetery, Folsom, LA.
