Herbert Conrade Kesler, Jr.'s Obituary
Herbert Conrade Kesler, Jr. passed away Friday, June 22, 2012. He was born August 26, 1924 to the late Herbert C., Sr. and Lucy Guidry Kesler. A native and life resident of New Orleans, Mr. Kesler served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and worked as a railroad clerk for the KCS Line until his retirement.
The beloved husband of the late Mary Alice Varner Kesler, he is survived by two sons, Mark A. and Glen J. Kesler; one brother, George H. Kesler; his son-in-law, August “Chip” Mangiarcina; daughter-in-law, Jill Kesler; three grandsons: Mark A., Jr. and Troy Kesler, Michael Mangiarcina and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Marcia K. Mangiarcina; daughter-in-law, Nanette Kesler and one granddaughter, Michelle Mangiarcina.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at 1:00 PM on Monday, June 25, 2012 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours will begin Monday at 11:00 AM.
Graveside services will take place at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Greenwood Cemetery in New Orleans.
