Henry Douglas “Doug” Bacon, IV passed away on Monday, January 27, 2014 at the age of 54.
Beloved husband of Karel Bacon. Loving father of Christine Mandina, Caroline Bacon and Lindsey Bacon. Step-father of Erin Thompson and Emmet Gonzales. Son of Allene Patterson Bacon and the late Henry Douglas Bacon III. Brother of Linda Koerner, Debra Covington and Renee Thompson. Grandfather of Lesley Dodd, Caden Lowe, Carter Lowe and Giuliana Mandina. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
He was a Lt. Commander in the U.S. Power Squadron, a resident of Covington and was an avid duck hunter.
