My mother, Joe Ann Bossier & Miss Etta were best friends their whole lives. Like my mother, she had 3 sons & a daughter. I have many fond memories of playing together at their home on Lee Road. I will always remember how funny & sweet she was. Her beautiful smile, her throaty laughter. At least now my mom has her best friend to hang out with again. They’re up in heaven right now drinking coffee, gossiping & laughing at all of us.

It was so great to spend our honeymoon with Aunt Etta, Grandma skelt, cousin Patti and cousin Donald, back in June of 1985. Aunt Etta baked a wonderful cake for my husband, Craig's birthday, and we all enjoyed our special week together! She will be missed! Our love and condolences go to Uncle Bill and the family! My wonderful aunt Etta has gone and will be missed so much. She taught me that it’s okay to laugh really hard, almost no matter the situation, and that it’s acceptable to turn cartwheels even in fancy places like the Waldorf Astoria.
