Helena Marie Durapau Morton's Obituary
Helena Marie Durapau Morton passed into eternal peace with our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at the age of 92.
Beloved wife of 67 years to the late John J. Morton, Sr. Loving mother of Gerard Morton, JoAnn Morton Lonergan (Nicholas III) and John Morton, Jr. (Leslie). Daughter of the late Helena Gros Durapau and Albert Durapau. Grandmother of Nicholas Lonergan IV,Nicole Lonergan Kennedy, Caroline Morton and Julia Morton. Great-grandmother of Nicholas V, Koryn, Colson and Jacob. Also survived by her niece and dedicated caregiver, Katie Hoelzel.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Friday beginning at 9:00 AM.
Interment will follow in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery.
