Helen Georgette Sieber Silva's Obituary
Helen Georgette Sieber Silva passed away on Monday, December 14, 2015 at the age of 89.
Beloved wife of the late Robert J. Silva, Jr. Loving mother of Holly Silva McLachlan and Wendy Silva. Daughter of the late Mary Taborsky Sieber and Albert Sieber. Sister of the late Pauline Howard.
Grandmother of Helen Marie McLachlan. Sister-in-law of Bruce Silva and Ronald Silva.
Helen was a native of New York City, raised in Queens where she met her future husband, Robert, during World War II and married in 1947. She and Robert moved to New Orleans and after Robert worked for IBM for 30 years, retired to the northshore.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at, E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Monday beginning at 9:30 AM.
Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mrs. Silva to be made to Catholic Charities.
