Heidi Chatelain Troxclair's Obituary
Heidi Chatelain Troxclair passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 1, 2026. She was 63. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, James P. Troxclair, and her children, Jim, Addie and Olivia Troxclair. She is also survived by her parents, Murphy and Lynda Chatelain, and her siblings, Stephanie Saizan (Carl), Murphy Chatelain, Jr. (Connie) and Kaycie Stewart (Drew).
Heidi was born at Baptist Hospital in New Orleans, LA and was a resident of St. Bernard Parish before moving to Mandeville, LA in 2005. She was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School and a graduate of University of New Orleans where she earned a Master of Arts degree in English Education. She was an active member and parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Mandeville. She was devoted to her family, especially to her husband and children. Moreover, she was a beloved daughter, sister, and aunt. Heidi was incredibly intelligent and talented and could have been or done anything, but her calling was wife, mother and friend. She enjoyed the simple things in life. She was truly selfless and always concerned about others above herself. She will be dearly missed by all who love her.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 6, 2026 at 11:00 am at E J Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, LA. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
