Harriet Woodward Jenkins on Saturday July 8, 2006. Beloved wife of the late Rev. Jeremiah R. Jenkins. Mother of Terri Jenkins Blount. Grandmother of Tiffany Lynn Blount and Kelly Elizabeth Blount. Sister of Lela Poindexter –Brunson and the late Doris Cannon, Jewel Woodward, Eunice Jones, Elva McKenzie, Betty Richardson, Ernest Woodward and Eddie Woodward. Daughter of the late Elmer Woodward and Lila Woodward. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Age 73 years. A native of Mangham, LA and a resident of Covington, LA for many years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at Sharp’s Chapel Church of God 22191 Sharp’s Chapel Road Bush, LA on Wednesday July 12, 2006 at 2:00 PM.
Interment in Shephard’s Fold Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 11, 2006 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, Inc. 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA and again from 11:00 AM until service time at the church.
