Harold Gerard Massetti's Obituary
Harold Gerard Massetti passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2009.
Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Shields Massetti. Father of Nancy Anderson and Scott Massetti. Grandfather of Kelli, Jennifer and Kristina Anderson, Brittney and Drew Massetti. Brother of Ralph Massetti and the late John Massetti and Geraldine Glynn.
He was a Corporal in the Army during WWII having served in the 5th Army, 34th Division during the North African and Italian campaigns. He received a Bronze Star from his service. He was a active member of the Silver Sneakers Club at Franco’s Athletic Club in Mandeville.
Age 87 years, a native of New York City, NY and a resident of Mandeville, LA for the past 20 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend memorial mass on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 11:00 AM from Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 312 Lafitte Street, Mandeville, LA 70448. Visitation on Saturday, AT THE CHURCH, from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Mandeville Cemetery.
