Harold B. Fresh, Jr.'s Obituary
Harold B. (H.B.) Fresh Jr., age 80 years old, departed this life on Tuesday December 11, 2007 at his home, surrounded by his loved ones and friends.
Born and raised in Jefferson, LA, he lived in Folsom, LA for the last 19 years; a United States Navy Veteran, he served during World War II Veteran. He was a retired Brick Mason from Bricklayers and Allied Craftworker’s Local No. 4 out of California, where he lived for 30 years. He was a long time member of H.B.P.A.
Son of the late Harold B. Fresh, Sr. and Olga Ross Fresh, stepson to the late Edna Fresh. He will be greatly missed by his loving companion of 23 years, Rhona (Bobbi) Lavelle. He is survived by his loving daughter, Yvonne Fresh Reid (North Carolina), stepdaughter Gayle Talcott, stepson-in-law, Frank Talcott (Oregon), stepson, Reginald Lavelle and stepdaughter-in-law, Diane Lavelle (Texas), and an adopted grandson, Blayde Miller. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, Chad and Amber Himes, Lt. Col. Christopher Talcott, Andrea Neistad, Ashley and Ross Lavelle; also 6 great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who truly knew and loved him. A special thank you to his many friends and family that helped keep his open door policy until his end.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend memorial services on Friday, December 14, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation will being on Friday at 11:00 AM.
