Harold Burton Archer's Obituary
Harold Burton Archer passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at the age of 59.
Beloved husband of Patricia M. Archer. Father of Elizabeth A. Shelton and son-in-law Shepherd L. Shelton, III and Lauren M. Archer. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Orval Archer. Brother of Dianna A. Semon and James O. Archer. Grandfather of Ainsley E. Shelton.
Mr. Archer was a native of Shreveport where he graduated from Captain Shreve High School and Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe Pharmacy School. He was an employee of K&B Drug Stores for over 23 years and recently of Walgreen’s. He was an avid golfer and a devoted family man.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial services on Monday, January 10, 2011 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel at E.J. FIELDING FUNERAL HOME, 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 with visitation on Monday beginning at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mr. Archer be made to the American Cancer Society.
